Ever since the first day I met Mary Brighid, I have been looking forward to their beautiful Sherwood Forest Annapolis wedding! From the start she explained the things that mattered most to her and Tyler, things like legacy and love and most of all a real good time!

Well when I arrived on the morning of their wedding day, I could tell that everything she dreamed of would be unfolding shortly!  I was greeted by some of the kindest bridesmaids and quickly got to work photographing some of the bridal details.  One of my favorite things that MB set aside was a gorgeous jewelry box from her mama with the initial marked “M.”  Little things like that make a day all so special and meaningful!

From there it was off to the church to finally get Tyler and Mary Brighid married!  I knew that Tyler was going to love seeing her for the first time, but I swear, he had one of the best reactions I’ve ever seen as his beautiful bride made her way down the aisle!  Neither one of them could contain their joy in those moments!! … or during the ceremony when they exchanged glances and laughter with one another!

But by far my favorite moment of the day happened just before we went out for sunset photos.  These two stopped for just a few moments and set aside time to just take note of how the day unfolded.  They talked about how all their favorite people were in one spot celebrating them! Isn’t that one of the greatest gifts of a wedding day?

Tyler and Mary Brighid shared with me that throughout the last few weeks as all the little details needed to be tended to, this is how they relaxed with one another.  They soaked it in 5 seconds at at time! I think they’re on to something there ;) In those 5 seconds, it doesn’t matter what’s going on around them (good or bad) it just matters that they’re together… a gift that these two don’t take lightly.

So while I loved getting to spend some much time with their sweet families, or kicking some people off of the pier for wedding party portraits… or the back of her dress; what I love most about these two is that their smiles held the definition of contagious joy, all. day. And that from day one of their marriage, they know that they can always hit pause together for 5 seconds at a time.
