Oh friends I have been keeping this wedding under lock and key for quite some time but I am so excited to finally share with you, Tom and Anna‘s wedding at Salamander Resort.

You may remember these to you from their Stone Tower Winery engagement… one of my favorite sessions of all time.  These two have such an easy way about them when they’re together and it makes it so easy to celebrate them.

To say I had been looking forward to this beautiful Salamander Resort wedding was an understatement…

There were so many special moments from this day, but one of the theme that shown through everything was family.  Tom & Anna centered their day around their families.  From bring married by Anna’s aunt, who conducted such a meaningful and tailored ceremony, to a wedding party full of family members and friends who are like family… it was all just so incredible!

As you take a gander through this beautiful collection of images from their Salamander Resort wedding, you won’t want to miss — so many amazing moments throughout the day.

In fact, Tom and Anna are the epitome of joy and their ceremony will forever go down as one of my all-time favorites.  As Anna made her way up the aisle to Tom with her mom linked in her arm, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Plus, Tom’s reaction to seeing her walk down is pretty much a case study for why doing a first look does not ruin the aisle moment.  He was just as enthralled with her as he was during their private moment together.

Originally hoping to have their wedding celebration in Napa Valley, these two anchored their design and details that pointed to nods to their favorite place.  Their incredible vendor team, led by Lauren Louise Events, made a beautiful, classic reception fitting for two people who wanted to feel like they have escaped to wine country. Safe to say their goal was accomplished.

My favorite moment, however, was when Anna and Tom participated in a family tradition, sneaking out of the reception to share a toast to honor her late father.  He was so missed this day, but his loved ones honored him with a wonderful tribute complete with a champagne bottle that donned his last name.

In case you couldn’t tell, I could go on and on about these two. They are here the real deal.  But I’ll quit my monologue.  Please enjoy a collection of some of my favorite images from this classic, Salamander Resort wedding.

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
