It’s been just over a year since these Nate & Sofi said, “I do!” It’s high time that their Baltimore Museum of Art wedding makes its blog debut.
The delay? How can I possibly encapsulate how much I adore this couple? It will forever go down as one of my favorites!
You see, on any given wedding day, I find myself starting off capturing the details. These are the items that the bride has spent so much time selecting. These are the things that one day her family will look back on and see a peek into her style. They’ll find what she loved and maybe just a little bit of who she is.
When I arrived at Hotel Revival last July, I found Sofi’s vows written in her journal labeled “feminist agenda.”
To know Sofi, is to know that there’s little more fitting.
… it’s no wonder Nate fell in love with her.
… it’s no wonder he was beside himself when she approached during their first look.
… it’s no wonder that they couldn’t keep themselves from smiling at one another.
Mount Vernon has rarely looked so special.
These two have an admiration for one another that is endless and is full of ease. They delight in one another.
… and it’s one of the easiest things to capture.
Add in some of the most fun Jewish traditions, toasts, and dancing… and you have yourself one heck of a party at their Baltimore Museum of Art wedding.
LynnAaron of Nouvelle Weddings made sure that every detail was fit for this extraordinary couple. Getting married at the tail-end of the pandemic era, this couple had to switch their venue and LynnAaron transformed the museum into the library they had originally been craving. One of my favorites details, in addition to the nod to Sofi’s favorite mustard color, was the incredible seating chart. It full of old books and hidden dinosaur figurines. Nate proposed to Sofi in an elaborate scheme at a cute DC bookshop. Their invitation to guests to enter the reception was the callback to the journey they’ve been on together.
Nate and Sofi told me that at the end of the day, they wanted to look back on their wedding 20 years from now and see joy. Safe to say, with these two, there’s no shortage.
Please enjoy a tiny peek into this gorgeous Baltimore Museum of Art wedding, and feel free to grab a peek at its feature in Baltimore Weds magazine, too!
We’d be nothing without the incredible vendors that work so tireless to make days like these extraordinary. Thank you to everyone who collaborated on Nate & Sofi’s Baltimore Museum of Art wedding —
