Tyler & Mary Brighid fell in love in Baltimore and who could blame them? This part of town is like escaping to France for a minute and made the perfect backdrop for their Mt Vernon Square engagement session.
I first met Mary Brighid a few months ago and from the first time we met, I felt like we could’ve talked for hours! I got to hear all about their plans for the wedding, the things that matter most to them, and so much more! Of course, I also got to hear all about Mary Brighid’s wonderful fiance who is pretty equivalent, in my mind at least, to Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men (Tyler, that’s one of my favorite movies, so I promise that’s a huge compliment!!!).
From our first meeting, we started planning their Mt Vernon Square engagement session. With Tyler being overseas, we knew we had to schedule for the week of Thanksgiving and I’m so glad we were able to squeeze it in to the busy holiday week!
These two are so much fun to be around and just love each another, which made my job a piece of cake! Seriously, I think they could have cuddled up all day and would’ve been happy! They way they look when they’re in each others’ arms — they look like they’re finally home!
A major perk of this session was that the locations they chose were so meaningful to them! Mt Vernon Square is one of their favorite parts of Baltimore and just around the corner from there is the Bun Shop, the spot of their first date… well, almost…
It turns out, that the date Tyler had planned so thoughtfully, at the perfect coffee shop – with a great vibe, was interrupted by college students studying for finals! There wasn’t a seat in the house! A, for effort though my friend; it’s the thought that counts! And so, the Bun Shop became one of their favorite hangs and was a part of their date when they decided to make things official… so I’d say it worked out!!
I could talk about these two for ages but instead I’ll let you steal a little peek into their love for one another instead. They’re getting married on our 5 year anniversary in May, and in my mind its so fun that Morgan and I will get to share an anniversary with them! Anyways, to steal the line from Mary Brighid — I had a blast “prancing around Baltimore” with these two!
Enjoy their beautiful Mt Vernon Square engagement session!
[…] Tyler and Mary Brighid shared with me that throughout the last few weeks as all the little details needed to be tended to, this is how they relaxed with one another. They soaked it in 5 seconds at at time! I think they’re on to something there ;) In those 5 seconds, it doesn’t matter what’s going on around them (good or bad) it just matters that they’re together… a gift that these two don’t take lightly. […] Try something new at your local coffee shop… and actually sit there and enjoy it together like these two! […]
