Let me paint a picture for you of how this R House Garage Baltimore editorial came to be…
I was sitting in my hospital room approximately… 12 hours after giving birth, and I got a text from my sweet friend Diana. She made the offer for me to photograph an editorial at a brand new space opening up in Baltimore with a killer team lined up.
Like any rational person who had just given birth, I decided that this would be the perfect opportunity for me to stretch my creative muscles and do something fun. When I’m “supposed to be” on maternity leave, I only say yes to things that feel fun.
…and boy am I glad that I said yes.
This shoot was so fun and so unique.
I love that we got to highlight the new space: R House Garage Baltimore. It’s perfect industrial vibe got dressed up in bold colors and florals from Diana and Wicked Willow Floral.
The purpose of the editorial was to show off its versatility. We got to show off reception spaces, a ceremony spot, and all the outdoor portraits. R House has so much to offer and it was so fun getting to explore all of the spaces outside of the pressure of a typical wedding day.
However, one of the sweetest parts of the day? Our sweet models. They were so gracious to give up their afternoon to spend time with us modeling… which we all know means listening to all of my requests. These two are so smitten with each other, which makes my job incredibly easy, but at any rate they look stunning.
This editorial was so fun to pull together, and create for. We’re thrilled that Baltimore Weddings agreed, and featured the editorial on their site! (You can check that out here!).
I owe a huge thank you to the incredible vendor team who made this come to life.
