Alex & Rachel’s Retro-Inspired Washington, DC Wedding was the epitome of relaxed and refined… a fitting representation of these two!
When I think back to this beautiful wedding celebration, there were so many things that I loved:
- The Ketubah signing… it was the perfect way to represent their families being tied together.
- Rachel’s whole bridal look was gorgeous and completed by one of my favorite bouquets of all-time. Alex’s navy tux was the perfect compliment and he cleaned up pretty nice, too ;)
- Alex & Rachel’s families were at the very center of their day, all so joyful. From the chuppah built by Rachel’s uncle, to the toast her grandfather gave, it was so meaningful to see such excitement surrounding these two as they said “I do!”
The juxtaposition of the two locations for the day, with Rockwood Manor as the ceremony backdrop and Glen Echo Park as the reception space, set the mood for the celebration. It was joyful, romantic, natural, and so fun.
I have so many favorite moments from their day and I am so excited to share that this wedding was also featured with Washingtonian Weddings. You can view even more fun here!
