Hello — happy Tuesday!  I’m popping in between the craziness of wedding season, but  am so excited to share a tiny peek at Drew & Lauren’s Annapolis waterfront engagement session.

When I first got on the phone with Lauren I knew that we would be a good fit for one another.

She has this warmth about her and it just exudes from every conversation.

I’ve been doing this a long enough time that I know that somebody who is marrying someone that fantastic has to be equally as wonderful. Meeting Drew only confirmed what I already knew.  He is every bit as hospitable and warm as Lauren is.

One of the greatest joys of this job that I will never get over, is being invited into such a special and wonderful season of life for people. The season of engagement is anticipatory. It’s the coming of the celebration it is to come and its worth capturing.

So when I arrived at at Drew’s parents house for their engagement session, I knew that everything I had already suspected was true. These two have a casual ease about each other, and when a couple is so comfortable together, it’s just magical.

We spent the evening dockside, looking out at the water, soaking it all in.  They grabbed a drink on the deck to commemorate this special season.

To say that New Year’s Eve can’t come fast enough would be an understatement. I’m thrilled to get to celebrate these to you again so soon alongside Sara Reynolds Events… I can’t wait to see what all they have dreamed up. I can’t think of a sweeter couple to ring in the New Year with.
