Today is a good day on the blog, because I get to share Zach and Mayson’s Soldier’s Delight fall engagement session!

Mays was one of the first people who ever “modeled” for me when I first picked up a camera.  I subjected her to shoots with my sister-in-law, photos on the porch when I found pretty light, and even had her dress up in a Rent the Runway gown in Fells Point at sunrise, for my first ever accepted feature online.

To say she’s been supportive of my business from the get-go is an understatement for sure!

But even more, so we’ve walked through a whole lot of life together.  Mays is steadfast, she’s loyal, and the kind of friend you love having in your corner because she’s there for you no matter what.  If you don’t know her, you want to now, right!? 

As you can imagine, whomever was going to fill the role of her partner-for-life was going to have some big expectations to live up to.  I mean, when you have someone as awesome as Mays, she needs someone “worthy!”

…and I’m happy to report that Zach is just that person.  It’s been so fun watching the two of them start their relationship and grow together.  They’re the perfect balance in ways and they both encourage and bring out the best in one another.  As a friend, that’s all you could hope for <3

I cannot believe that in just a few weeks, I’ll get the honor and privilege of capturing & witnessing these sweets friends as they start their lives together as husband and wife.  It’ll surely be something to celebrate!

In the meantime, I have to share a few of my favorites from their engagement session last week at Soldier’s Delight.  It was nothing short of a dreamy session — filled with pretty light, one of my favorite spots for pictures, and of course, I’ll take any time I can get with these two ;)

13 Days until we celebrate at the Dye House… let the countdown begin!  Xo!
