It is officially wedding weekend for Bethany and Isaac.

I am so excited to finally share with y’all a little peek at their engagement session.  Before you ask, the backdrop for this shoot was the National Cathedral Washington DC and made for the most epic space for their engagement session.

Ever since I first chatted with Bethany on the phone, I have been just enamored by her kind and sweet demeanor . After meeting Isaac at their engagement session, I can see how these two are perfect compliments for each other.

They are high school sweethearts, who were introduced by friends when Isaac was in need of a date to the dance. Bethany already knew who he was, and was so excited when he asked.

As they say, it’s all been history from there.

Fast forward to today and we are in the single digits until their wedding celebration is finally here.  When these two are together, they have joy that just exudes and I cannot wait for all that is to come this weekend.

I have a feeling it will be very easy to celebrate them. ;)

But first, I can’t help but share a few of my favorites from their National Cathedral Washington DC garden engagement session.  This epic backdrop seemed so fitting for these two and we had an incredible evening, exploring the grounds together.

I love National Cathedral for sessions, because while it’s obviously beautiful, it’s more than just that.  The space has an elegant simplicity to it, that allows the couple to really shine, instead of being only captivated by the beautiful architecture and grounds.  This session was no exception.  You can’t miss their joy.
