I should start this post of by saying that I am not a sparkly girl or a particularly glamorous one.  When it comes to choosing things for fashion or for my own wedding I picked simple and that was that.  So for me to tell you that my absolute new favorite thing to shoot on a wedding day is sparkly jewelry is completely out of character and I promise, no one is forcing me to write this post! Ha! For the styled bridal shoot with Mayson, I decided to order some sparkly earrings along with her sparkly gown.  I mean, it only made sense that if the gown sparkly then the jewelry had to be too, right?!

Well, here are the things I learned from playing with the earrings after that day.

1. Sparkly jewelry instantly classes up any outfit.

2. Sparkly jewelry photographs insanely well.

3.  I love shooting sparkly jewelry.

So I think you get the point, but I am definitely hoping that some of my 2014 brides will have some fun jewelry for me to shoot!  If you haven’t already purchased your wedding day jewelry, maybe you should take this tip into consideration!! Happy rainy Wednesday!
