Logan & Alexa’s autumn New York City maternity portraits felt like the most beautiful full-circle moment. Watching my couples step into new seasons of life is one of the greatest privileges of my job… and one I’ll never take for granted.

Plus, a fall day in New York? What could be better?

New York at any time has a rhythm all its own.  But in autumn? The trees turn amber and gold, the air softens, and the city feels almost cinematic. Central Park becomes this perfect in-between — nature tucked inside the hustle and bustle.

We wandered along the water, framed by fiery leaves and all those magnificent landmarks in the distance. The color palette couldn’t have been more perfect: soft neutrals against rich autumn tones.

It was understated. Intentional. Full of excitement…

Exactly the way maternity portraits should feel.

There is something profoundly meaningful about photographing the same love story through its chapters.

I’ve watched the way Logan looks at Alexa since their engagement session. I saw it again on their wedding day. And now, seeing that same tenderness as he rested his hands on their baby — that quiet joy — it hits differently.
