You are in for a treat today for this Hampton Historic Site maternity session. When Arlana reached out to me, I was so excited to hear from her! You just might recognize her from Shawn and Laurie’s bridal party a few years ago ;) She was a bridesmaid and just the sweetest soul. There are […]

This morning I read an instagram post from Bob Goff that said “God intended us to travel through life as a community. Think bus, not unicycle.” What struck me most is that I feel like that’s one of the biggest blessings of this season of my life! When Amelia told me she was expecting, I […]

Oh friends, do I have a treat for you today! Many of you know that I am a wedding and couples’ photographer, but occasionally I have a slot open up in my schedule for a portrait session. When Christelle got in touch with me about capturing her for her birthday, I was so excited! I had the best time spending the morning with her and she was such a trooper!

Today on the blog I’m sharing something a little different than the norm. At the end of last year I started offering limited portrait sessions as a way for me to better focus on my wedding and couple clients, and it’s been awesome! However, for sweet friends like these and on such a special occasion, I had to break my rule!

Oh good morning! Happy Tuesday sweet friends! Today you get to see a very special little lady and her adventures in the woods! Sweet Marla decided that it would be a great idea to go “suwching fo’ foxes in da woods” (for those of you who need a translation, “searching for foxes in the woods”). It was a blast and I’m so glad I got a few portraits while we were at it! She’s the sweetest!

Okay, I’m officially a big ole pile of mush! When Brett and Katie asked me to document this sweet time in their lives, I was so excited and if I’m being real, a little nervous! I can take portraits of couples like its my job (probably because it is, HA! Laugh with me people!) but throw a little baby bump in there and I didn’t think I’d know what to do! Well, these two are basically pros and made my job so easy!
