Last week, I had the chance to travel to New York City for Logan and Alexa’s engagement session and it was nothing short of perfection.

If you know me, you know that I pretty much always jump at the chance to travel and get out of my “norm.”  There’s something so inspiring about it!  So when Alexa asked if I would consider coming to meet them in their new city, I was totally on board!

I joked that I explored most of Manhattan, took the subway, ate the best pizza in the city, got confused for a local, and best of all, got to spend the whole morning exploring with these two!

L&A were originally supposed to move to the city just at the cusp of 2020.  For obvious reasons, their move was postponed until they finally settled in last November.  Our session was perfect because we got to explore Central Park (hi, hello, ya can’t beat it), but also their neighborhood in Midtown!  Hearing them share about the places they went when the first got to the city, and seeing their local hangs was so fun.

Best of all? These two are some of the nicest humans and so smitten with one another.  They couldn’t stop smiling all morning and as much as these two are in love with the magic of where they live, they’re a million times more so with one another.  Laughter and smiles come often and easily — an excellent sign in my book.

All of these factors added together to make for the perfect session, and I could not be more excited to share some of my favorites from their New York City engagement session!

I know I say this a lot, but I really mean it… I can’t wait to spend the day together again in September.  If last week was any indicator, it’s going to be a pretty epic celebration!
