A celebration rooted in meaning from beginning to end.

Tom & Erin’s wedding this past weekend was a special one, and I’m so excited to be reliving their Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding on my computer screen over the next few weeks.

These are just a few peeks of their day, with so much more to come.  For now, here are a few things about this incredible celebration I don’t want to forget —

The Details

A garden party, fully realized.  There were soft blues, blush, and butter yellow carried through every touchpoint—from the invitation suite to their lush tablescape.

But, the detail that set the tone: a handwritten note for every guest.  Thoughtfulness balanced with a guide to find their table, too.. what could be better?

The Florals

They were loose, organic, effortless.

Pastels in their most elevated form—peonies, ranunculus, and delicate blue accents woven into every bouquet and arrangement.

By the Water

With the iconic bridge as their backdrop, they said “I do!”  As Tom & Erin exchanged vows bayside, their wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd.

To say I adored this day and this couple would be an understatement.  These two (and their people!) exuded joy and delight.  They were calm and giddy and emotional in all the right ways.  It was truly a one of a kind celebration.
