You may recognize this wonderful crew from the Italian-inspired bridal shower that landed in the pages of Baltimore Weddings this past year — and somehow, this celebration was every bit as thoughtful, whimsical, and joy-filled as the last.

One of the greatest gifts of this job is being invited back into people’s lives for the milestones that matter most. Engagements, weddings, babies, anniversaries — getting to document these seasons for families over and over again never stops feeling meaningful.

This time, the incredible Katey Clarke Creative team transformed the space into a full-blown circus-inspired fête. And honestly? It felt like stepping into the most charming little storybook.

“Come one, come all — baby Chase is joining our circus!”

Guests were welcomed by playful striped details, whimsical signage, vintage-inspired touches, and the happiest palette. Reds, blues, yellows, and soft creams were found everywhere. Every corner felt intentional — from the ticket-inspired paper goods to the carnival-striped favor boxes. And that larger-than-life entrance installation overflowing with balloons? Perfection.

What I loved most, though, was how immersive the experience felt. That’s something the best Baltimore event planners do so well: they don’t just design beautiful parties, they create an atmosphere guests instantly feel part of. The Katey Clarke Creative team has such a gift for blending elevated design with personality and warmth. This baby shower was the perfect example of that blend.

I’d also be remiss not to mention the florals by talented Crimson & Clover. Absolute magic.

Bright poppies and whimsical blooms added so much movement and playfulness everywhere.

It was sweet, nostalgic, playful, and beautifully done in a way that felt true to the sweet mama-to-be.

… and the food? Out of this world. Well Dunn always has the most creative menus that all taste incredible.
