If you follow along on Instagram, you saw this sneak peek from Nick & Lauren’s Jersey Shore engagement photos last week.  The lighting basically had me in heaven.

What you wouldn’t know from looking at the photos, is that we almost had to reschedule this session due to a hurricane.  Casual, right?

When Lauren and I first started chatting about their session and locations, we thought about shooting in NYC where they live.  Like most things these days, COVID threw that a for a bit of a loop.  Instead, Lauren decided that we should shoot on the shore where they had been quarantining for the summer before their return to the city.

During our session, we were chatting and I couldn’t help but note how laidback and wonderful these two are.  A beach session was the perfect fit for them!

Plus, the hurricane subsided, the rain stopped about an hour before we started, and we ended up with the perfect breeze and sunset. Basically a perfect equation!

Before we started shooting, Nick and Lauren both teased about how they didn’t love having their photos taken.  I swear, I think they were lying.  These two are such naturals that I barely even had to tell them what to do! That’s how you know that their connection is just so easy and joyful!

Again, did I mention I was in heaven?

It’s safe to say, I am very much looking forward to seeing these two again for their wedding celebration next June, with Sara Reynolds Events! It’s going to be amazing!!
