Friends, you are going to love this meaningful, quintessential autumn estate wedding.
This love story is almost 80 years in the making. You see, before you get too confused, Megan and Brandon’s families have been friends for years! 80 years at that, and I’m not one to take that lightly. It’s like they were destined for one another from the start! … And on Saturday they finally connected the families officially!
And what better place to celebrate than the family’s estate? Brandon and Megan have been hard at work reviving their family home to show off all of the beauty, tradition, and heritage that the property holds. With the help of Eight Tree Street Florals, a gorgeous sperry tent, and lots of hands on deck, they transformed this space into a perfect wedding venue.
There are so many incredibly touches and nods to legacy throughout the day, but one of my favorites is the cross that stood adorned behind them as Megan and Brandon said “I do!” It was constructed from the original wood of her grandparent’s home.
Imagine how many family members have touched and loved that wood… it’s like they were all there celebrating with Brandon and Megan, even if they couldn’t be present.
And that friends, is just the start — I mean don’t get me wrong, I love the details of this day, but even more so, I love this sweet couple. You can tell that they are the ultimate team. They love each other and feel like their best selves when they’re together! They’re joyous and kind. Their biggest priorities included serving their guests and honoring their families’ legacies!
If that doesn’t speak to who they are as a couple, I don’t know what does! And in case you were wondering, I spent most of Saturday absolutely gushing! So before I get too carried away, I’ll let you see how their perfect quintessential autumn estate wedding played out for yourself!
