On a scale from 1-10, I love this session basically 20 billion.
I first got to chat with Anna over the phone (because COVID) while walking Reese at the park since her schedule had gotten messed up… because, working mom during COVID. We chatted away about how she and Tom met, their pup Moose, and all of the fun things they have in mind for their wedding celebration next year at the Salamander. From our first meeting I knew I was going to love them! Maybe partly because she totally didn’t make fun of me for being short-of-breath pushing my, now seemingly ginormous, toddler up the hills as we talked!
Tom and Anna love wine and good food, so when they originally set off to plan their special day, they had hoped to do it at a winery in Napa. It would’ve been a perfect fit for them — except COVID. (Are you catching a theme yet? Haha!)
Because celebrating with their friends and family was their top priority, they decided to chose to have their wedding locally instead! I know it’s going to be incredible!
However, as a nod to their original plans, we decided to photograph their engagement session at a winery! Stone Tower was the perfect backdrop! These two grabbed a glass of their signature sparkling rosé and we were on our way to explore the gorgeous property!
As we walked around and chatted, I got to know these two even more and I adore them! They are both so fun, laidback, and funny! I’m pretty sure we laughed the entire time. Especially when Tom and I accidentally revealed our competitive sides.
Even more fun? In our travels we happened upon the most magical section of the winery! The light was perfect and the view of the vineyards behind them was pretty much straight out of a fairytale.
Anna and Tom, I had the most wonderful time with you last week! I am so excited to share my favorites with you from your Stone Tower Winery engagement session! I have too many to narrow down! I’ll be busy counting down until next June when we get to hang out again :)
Happy Wednesday, friends!
PS. If you love this session, I know you’re going to love the wedding I’ll be sharing in a few weeks from Stone Tower Winery. Isn’t it an incredible venue?
