Last week, I met Andy and Lauren for their Swan Harbor Farm engagement session and I’m so thrilled to share it with you today!

I first met Lauren years ago when I was photographing one of her best friend’s weddings as a second photographer! When she reached out to me to shoot her wedding, I knew exactly who she was.  At Tom and Elizabeth’s wedding, she had been so kind and attentive the whole time!  She definitely stood out amongst the bridesmaids that day… though it helps that we have the same name! Haha!  Obviously the first time we met to discuss her wedding plans, I knew we would be a perfect fit!

When Lauren introduced me to Andy, it was pretty clear how much these two care for one another.  They met by happen chance, went on a date, and have been together ever since!  They seem like the best of friends and get along so easily!  I love that the things that matter most to them align.  When they talk about their wedding day, they share about how they want to serve their guests!  I think that’s one of the most important things of a wedding, so they obviously scored brownie points in my book!

Since I met Lauren and Andy first, I’ve been looking forward to photographing them! They chose Swan Harbor Farm as the location for their session because it reminds them of their wedding venue.  The autumn leaves were at their peak and the light breeze along the water made for the perfect weather.  Lauren loves sunsets and so the dreamy light made the night all the better!

What could be better than golden and a sweet couple?

Not much!
