Good morning sweet friends! Can you believe that it’s already the second week of April?!  The month of March was amazing and I can’t believe how fast it flew by!  With weekends crammed full of events and a sweet getaway to Charleston, I’m grateful that April is calming down a little bit!  Well, let’s be honest, there’s still much to do though, specifically the kick-off of wedding season!  I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of wedding season and with it, I have a few goals and dreams for this month!

At a glance:

• Matt + Stephanie are getting married this month! Yay! You may remember them from their gorgeous, rustic engagement shoot!
• I have quite a few shoots on the queue and I am so excited about it!  I’m especially excited for a few engagement shoots and a gorgeous styled shoot that I get to photograph!
• There are a lot of fun birthdays this month and I love getting to celebrate our sweet friends and the fact that they’re alive!
• Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I loved getting to celebrate last weekend!

Business Goals for March:

• I have a pile of mail to clients that needs to get out! This is definitely on the list of things to do! (CHECK!)
• Blog more 4-5 times per week.  Last week I blogged only three times and it’s dwelling a bit on my conscience! Ah! (CHECK!)
• Make progress in the rebrand! (CHECK!)
• Take steps towards launching a new part of my business. (CHECK!)

Personal Goals for March:

• Discipline: this is my word for the month.  “Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline,” Proverbs 1:7.  I don’t know about you, but I want to be wise not a fool.  This word applies to my eating and exercise habits as well as my quiet time. (I wish this was a check, but I think it would be wise to extend this one into April, too!  I definitely wasn’t as disciplined as I hoped to be!)
• Get to work on a personal project that has been in the works and will continue to be for a while.  I may announce a model call for it soon, so stay tuned for that! (CHECK! If you’re wondering what I am talking about, check out the Living Room Project!)

Business Goals for April:

• Launch the new site!!! Yay!! I’ll be announcing the launch date tomorrow!!
• Photograph my shoots well this month!
• Kick of wedding season with a bang!  I am so excited and I want to make sure that I have all my workflow systems in check before it gets too crazy around here!
• Clean camera and lenses!
• Update my own branding collateral!

Personal Goals for April:

• Work on maintaining and creating discipline.
• Try new recipes! I bought a fun magazine with a bunch of great recipes that I can’t wait to
• Spend less time on my phone during the weekends and when I could/should be spending time with Morgan.
• Maintain my limited spending attitude!!
