Guys, this weekend, I, Lauren Swann did not take a photo: not a single one. WHAT?! This weekend I put my phone and my camera down and just enjoyed my time with family and with Morgan. The photo for this page? Well it’s a little throw back to California. Honestly, it was so good to be present and not so involved in my phone. I’m sure Morgan would still disagree that I still didn’t spend quite enough time off my phone, but I think I’m going to try and make this a thing. Spending less time on my phone during the weekend. Is anyone else up for the challenge with me?
Anyways, here’s the weekend wrap-up:
- Friday
- Friday night we celebrated Josh’s birthday at one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Sykesville. It was so delicious that we ended up going back the next night. Okay we did do that but only because our friends wanted to meet there again on Saturday night.
- Our friends from high school all got together the other night for the first time in forever! It was so good to hang with everyone and I’m so excited that everyone will be back in the area this summer!
- Our latest Netflix flick: The Killing. Morgan and I did some binge-watching this weekend and it was glorious. I’m totally addicted.
- Easter services this weekend was a blast and we loved getting to serve at our church this weekend. I’m so grateful to be a part of a community that encourages us to remember what’s most important!
Happy Monday, friends!
