Downtown Annapolis Quintessential Fall Engagement — Adam & Evelyn

Hi friends! We’ve officially reached the time in winter where I want to escape the brown/dead stuff that is outside.  It’s just that time — if there’s no white fluffy stuff on the ground, then winter, I don’t want you.

Alas, I decided it was time for a little escape today and I wanted to take you with me…

Off to a downtown Annapolis quintessential fall engagement session we go.  I mean, for starters, we were blessed with the most amazing fall colors.  Secondly, these two are SO much fun.

You may recognize Evelyn as she’s been featured on the blog before… as the star maid of honor from this Mt. Washington Mill Dye House wedding.  It was there that I first fell in love with her, especially after Evelyn gave an epic speech.  As you can imagine, I’ve heard a few these before, and Evelyn’s was hands down one of my favorite speeches of all time.

Fast forward to hearing from Claire that Evelyn and Adam got engaged in France.  I had my fingers crossed that I would get to be a part of this delightful couple’s wedding celebration, too.

The Poseys have become like extended family and I cherish my time with them, so being invited back to capture their family memories over and over again… it’s just such a joy and delight.

The icing on the cake? Adam is pretty darn great, too.  I don’t often get to meet grooms before the engagement session, so this becomes our time to get to know each other.  Not only is he so thoughtful and kind… I just love the way he adores Evelyn.

These two are pretty dang spectacular.

Annapolis engagement sessions in general are special because we get to wander around this quaint little town.  You get the perfect mixture of architecture bliss at the capitol (even under construction), cozy streets, and a waterfront view that is tough to beat. Add in the epic fall colors we were met with this day and you know that I was in heaven.

So enjoy a little peek at this downtown Annapolis quintessential fall engagement session.  Happy Tuesday!

Can’t wait to celebrate these two in July alongside Sara Reynolds Events and an incredible crew.

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

Lauren grew up spending her summers at the shore, and when she and Nick got together, she couldn't help but introduce him, too!  Their session in New Jersey was filled with gorgeous light, sweet smiles, and so much love & laughter.

Connor and Alli's wedding celebration was full of lush florals, gorgeous details, and a whole lot of joy.  Their first look was one of the most sacred moments I've witness on a wedding day... filled with so much delight and love!

One of my greatest inspirations comes from exploring and the California coast fulfills that wanderlust like nothing else.  Anytime I have rolling hills and oceanside views, I'm in heaven.

She's the ultimate hypewoman. I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
