Every so often, I love to stretch my creative muscles by coming up with a fun shoot. It helps keep me on my game and experiment with light. Most of all it helps me get into a wonderfully creative rhythm.
It’s funny because this time of year is the time where the messages we hear go a little something like this:
“It’s January… a magical time to refresh.”
— (Seemingly All) Instagram Influencers Everywhere
We’re somehow magically going to ignore the dullness of winter and feel refreshed. I understand it to some extent… a new year feels like a new chance. But for me to feel inspired, it requires a bit more intentionality. A shoot like this always ends up being just what the doctor ordered <3
Imagine my delight when I found these gorgeous Coral Charm Peonies right around the time we celebrated Quinn’s bright & bold one year birthday party. These beauties ended up getting to live to lives when I paired them with the heirloom china set my great aunt left to me.
Plus, a shoot like this combines my love for interiors, florals, and photo… what more could I want?
