This engagement session has been one that has been a long time coming. Due to circumstances outside of all of our control, we’ve had to reschedule this shoot a time or two ;)
The perk? It meant that when I finally met Tyler and Lauren over the weekend for their Annapolis Cove engagement session, they instantly felt like old friends… to be fair, we’ve accidentally walked through a lot of life together even if it wasn’t in real life. Regardless, these two are so relaxed and easy to get along with that it made capturing them such a breeze.
… and did we have a breeze.
… or a gust or two.
… or many.
Their joy was absolutely contagious despite the fact that we were shooting in 30 degrees and 30+ mph wind gusts… on the water… in January.
However, this session could be a case study for shooting quickly, in the cold, and how it doesn’t even matter if two people are totally and completely in love. In fact, at one point were all got to chatting all about their beautiful June wedding at Kirkland Manor, Tyler got the biggest grin on his face, and exclaimed, “I just can’t wait!” ME neither, Tyler, me neither ;)
To say I’m looking forward to capturing and celebrating these two again alongside Katie Parks Events in June is understatement.
