A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet up with my sweet friend Natalie of Natalie Franke Photography and get some new head shots and motivation for my 2014 season! First of all let me just give a HUGE thanks to Natalie!! She is seriously one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she is incredibly open and authentic. I absolutely loved sharing my dreams and hopes with her for the afternoon, and she was honest with me about would and wouldn’t happen right away! Some of the things I took away from our little meet-up were important improvements that I plan to implement this year! First of all, I want to work on being consistent on my client experience! I want each of my clients to have a wonderful experience from the first email through the time that they are delivered their images! In order to stay on top of everything, I am created a workflow chart that breaks down literally every step to their process from email them their contract to shoot their wedding! I’m so excited to get that fun little print in the mail and hang it in my office space! Another thing I took out of meeting with her is that I need to work on networking more for my area! Currently most of my networking is in NOVA, which is great, but it would also be nice to meet some vendors and other photographers in an area closer to my home! I’m so excited to start doing this during this “off-season.” What are some things you’re hoping to accomplish in the next year, whether it’s personal or for business? I’d love to hear about it! Oh, and if you’re on the fence about doing a mentoring session with someone, DO IT! It’s such a blessing to hear how other people are working on accomplishing the things they love and to gain tips and tricks to making yours a little better!! Happy Monday!!
You are so sweet, girl! Thank you so much for the kind words! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year!
