Bethany and Isaac had a beautiful Gatsby-inspired Baltimore wedding at the Woodholme Country Club this past November.

The day was the was the epitome of classic — they each got ready at their childhood homes and had a wonderful church wedding.  And the reception? Emerald green and gold painted the entire space.  The details of the day were stunning… a ballroom transformation for sure.

While the florals and design were memorable, when I think back to this day, I will always be delighted by how this couple interacted with each other.  Adoration is a verb that comes to mind.  Not only did these two adore one another, but their friends that they were surrounded by and their sweet families, too.

In fact, it’s a somewhat rare occasion that both sides of the family love and care for, each other to the point where you feel like you’re being welcomed into one big family. This was certainly the case for Bethany and Isaac.

In fact, it’s no wonder then that family is so important to these two.  They are surrounded by incredible ones.

They chose to honor Isaac’s parents by getting married in the same church that they had.  The same church that had been instrumental in their relationship with each other.  The same church where Bethany first spotted Isaac. And as an nod to her own family, Bethany carried her great grandmother’s wedding handkerchief with her during the sacrament.  A legacy table was the first thing that greeted guests into the reception.  To them — family is everything.

In case you can’t tell this couple is just so sweet. I so enjoyed working with them and watching their vision for their wedding day come alive.  Not only that, but this day was the embodiment of a celebration. Lots of fun was had!!

I hope you’ll enjoy a few peaks into this beautiful Gatsby-inspired Baltimore wedding executed by an incredible vendor team lead by none other than Sara Reynolds Events.

I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
