If elegant, autumn weddings are your thing, you’ll love this Grand Hotel wedding.  Nick & Caroline’s day was utmost perfection.

Sometimes you meet a couple and you just seem to click… Nick and Caroline are that kind of couple for me!  They’re kind and sweet, but most of all we can appreciate each others’ lifestyles.  You see, Morgan and Nick work for the same county as firefighters, and there’s no one who understands that kind of schedule than the spouse of a fireman!  Caroline and I bonded over that immediately, and it made it so much more special to me to get to capture their wedding day.

It felt like showing up for the day of old friends’, which just makes my job even more delightful!

Speaking of delightful, there’s many words that I could use to describe their wedding day, and that descriptor is at the top!  Nick and Caroline’s day was the perfect juxtaposition of laidback elegance.  They made intentional choices that made their wedding day hold meaning to them – from Caroline’s borrowed handkerchief that has been passed down from her great great grandmother, to the lace that their mamas wrapped around them in the ceremony as a beautiful symbol of unity, to the location of their reception, just down the street from the church Caroline would attend with her school as a kid; their day was thoughtful,  intentional, and joyful!

Everything about the day was so elegant, but their attitudes prioritized the thing that matter most – that at the end of the ceremony they were married!

Nick and Caroline, thank you for giving me the honor of capturing your wedding day! Y’all are just the best (and yes I said y’all just for you Nick), and I’ll be forever wanting to relive this day over and over again.
