Last week, Morgan and I popped away for vacation to Los Angeles, California.  The purpose of our trip was to visit our sweet friends Lucas and Catherine who live there.  The locals gave us a tour of the city and it was so fun! I also got to visit my sweet friend Stacee, who I met in New Zealand!  She took us to the most delightful pie shop in arts district and it was so good.  I’m still daydreaming about that chicken ‘n’ cornbread pie! While we were in LA, we also went to the opening weekend for the SkySpace LA slide.  How often do you get to slide down a glass slide 70 floors in the sky?! After a few days in the city we hopped on a ferry and headed to Catalina Island!  While we were there, we ate delicious food, kayaked, and snorkeled! It was so fun to just relax on an island for a while! After a busy spring and beginning of summer, it was just what Morgan and I needed!
