Y’all — WEDDING SEASON IS HERE! Starting on Sunday, I’m kicking off our spring 2019 wedding season and I couldn’t be more excited.

The best part? I get to start off by photographing some very sweet friends — George & Erin!

I’ve known Erin since she was a senior in high school and I photographed her senior pictures.  She’s been best friends with my sister-in-law since high school and has always been around our family! I’ve loved getting to know her over the years, and it’s kind of crazy to me (in the best way!) that she’s about to be a bride!!

Fast forward to when we met George for the first time… you could tell that these two were pretty smitten with each other.  He’s funny and sweet, and when they’re together, the both bring out the best in each other.

Last fall, I got to photograph their Downtown Annapolis engagement session (yes, I’m more than a little late sharing).  It was the perfect day, because even though it was a little toasty, there was a nice breeze.

This worked in our favor until I made them go out on the little dock near the waterfront ;)  George is none-too-keen on the water and the platform kept shaking and moving the whole time!  Thankfully there were no casualties in the making of these photographs.

Plus, at least you know that their laughter is genuine! I might have conveniently left out the photo where poor George’s face looked terrified! You’re welcome, George! ;) Thanks for trusting me, even when I forced you to go out on a scary, creaky, windy platform! Lol!

Anyways, to celebrate their wedding week, I’m sharing George & Erin’s Downtown Annapolis engagement session with y’all today.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorites, and I think you’ll see why I’m so excited to see them Sunday!!
