Last weekend, Wendy and Anthony welcomed me into their home for their Logan Circle Washington DC Anniversary session.  To say I’m obsessed with their space is an understatement, but the story surrounding this place is even sweeter.

Anthony and Wendy got married almost three years ago!  But just before that it got a little interesting to say the least.  Like all good stories, their original plans were interrupted.  Just as Anthony was moving to be close to Wendy and her family, Wendy got a job offer that she couldn’t turn down.  It brought them to Washington DC, a place that Anthony had never even been to until he moved there!

This place in Logan Circle became their abode and east coast haven.  Walking around their favorite spots, taking selfies near the monuments, and the fact that there is a Madewell within walking distance made this place a great fit. (… and clearly, Wendy and I were destined to be friends from the start).  But even more so, when I listened to them talk about their lives in their home, what they shared about was the community they built around themselves!  Isn’t that the most special anyway?

Well fast-forward to a few weeks ago when Wendy reached out about photographing a session together.  She and Anthony are about to close the chapter on their lives here in DC to move back to her hometown in Seattle!  … their original plan just took a few years of re-routing ;) To celebrate some the hardest and greatest times of their lives, they wanted to capture the city where it all took place — their little neighborhood in Washington DC.

I hope y’all enjoy a little peek into getting to know Anthony and Wendy! They are fun and kind and thoughtful!  … I know that DC is certainly going to miss them!
