I am elated to finally be sharing Mitchell & Meghan’s intimate Maryland at-home wedding with you.
One of the best parts of my job is hands down the people I get to meet. Not only the couple, their incredible families, but the vendors we get to collaborate with! The whole experience is such a joy when surrounded by kind-hearted, hard working people!
This day was filled with a whole slew of remarkable, happy humans!!
From the first time I talked to Meghan on the phone, I knew their wedding was going to be special. Not only did we bond over our favorite Sam Edelman flats, but I was instantly taken by her laid back approach to the wedding planning process. (Spoiler alert: this served her well with her 2020 wedding!) I was equally as excited to meet Mitch after hearing how smitten they are with each other.
You can confirm that this is accurate and they’re both some of the nicest humans ever ;)
As the planning process continued on, Marcie pulled together an amazing team, and I knew it was going to be epic. Before long, everyone was handed the plot twist that all of our 2020 couples were left with… reschedule or limit who could attend? Meghan and Mitch handled it so gracefully!
When the pivot was made from their 100+ person wedding to a small intimate gathering of just their immediate families, everyone ensured that it was still every bit as special (and safe!) as it had been planned before.
With a celebration so intimate, it was such a gift to be absorbed into their families for the day and really getting to see how loving and caring they all are! Everyone was unanimously thrilled for this sweet couple and it made the day so incredible.
As I was thinking about my favorite parts, I honestly couldn’t narrow it down. If I could, I would re-do this day over and over again! I’m happy that the pics help me and you, relive it, too!
As you’re scrolling, here are a few things to take note of:
- Meghan gathering around with her sisters and her moms as she got dressed. This family blends so seamlessly and the dynamic was such a gift to experience.
- Mitch’s face when he saw her! These two have a special kind of love and getting to watch it unfold on one of their best days ever, is something I won’t forget.
- We were all teary-eyed as Meghan’s dad shared wisdom with the couple and helped them say, “I do!”
- Speaking of ceremony delights.. Mitch’s vows. Phew!
- The fly-by banner flown by Meghan’s uncles who couldn’t be in attendance of the wedding… talk about a surprise!
- The transformation Marcie, Stacey, and the whole vendor team created as an epic backdrop for the ceremony & reception.
- Those sunset portraits are some of my all-time favorites ever.
I could go on and on, but instead, I’ll let you see this intimate Maryland at-home wedding for yourself!
