Here we are, number two on our list of the top things to invest in on the wedding day. You’re probably wondering why I as a wedding photographer didn’t put this on the list at the top. Well, what are you going to take pictures of if you don’t have any guests there?! Anyway, if you missed the whole post on the people at the wedding you can check back here!
So here’s what you came for today folks, the reason why you should invest into photos is because it’s the physical evidence of the events and details of your day! You spent so long brainstorming, planning, and preparing for the big day, and this is your chance to remember every detail! Your wedding day is a whirlwind! There are literally so many moments that you want to remember, like the look your husband got when he saw you for the first time, that trump other little details (in comparison), but you put a lot of work into them! If I’m being honest, I don’t think I even saw more of our tent than the sweetheart table and the cake. We had a super short reception but still! All of those centerpieces Morgan and I worked on… and when I say we, I mean I came up with the idea and he implemented them, I don’t think I ever even saw. That’s why seeing the photographs of them are so important to me!!
I also love that one day our kids will be able to look through our wedding album and see the story of our day! It’s something that to me, is so magical!! So I hope this helped explain my opinion a little better about why the photographs are so important to the wedding day! And as usual I have to thank our amazing wedding photographer, Katelyn for all the photos!!
