As I mentioned in our last #fornewlyweds post, Morgan and I have been seriously lacking in the making traditions department of our holiday celebrations.  This year, I’m determined to make a shift in the pendulum, and I’m using the ever-motivating bucket list.  So without further ado, watch us attempt to cross these items off our list leading up to Christmas –

Have a Christmas Movie Marathon – Home Alone, Elf, The Santa Claus, and Die Hard
Cut down a fresh tree and take Mack, too!
Bake and Ice Christmas Cookies
Decorate the tree while listening to carols
Give a gift to someone I don’t already know
Find the perfect gift for someone I love – one they didn’t already know they wanted
Make a wreath for the back door
Design, address, and mail our Christmas Cards
Host a Christmas party
Pursue a heart of contentment despite the typical demands of the season

What’s your favorite preparing-for-Christmas tradition?

Also, I know that the image above is not of us, but how cute and cozy is that couple from our Annapolis Editorial last year? Don’t they make you feel like Christmas?

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
