Maybe this is just me, but after a while do you ever go back through your old Pinterest boards and purge things that are no longer your style? Well, as I was doing that the other day, I came across a pin that my sweet friend Anna posted about a site called Coffitivity. It’s a site that essentially you just keep open on your web browser and it plays the noises of things that would be ongoing in a coffee shop! Now, I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical at first. Normally while I’m working I turn on the Frank Sinatra radio instead, but in the last few days of listening to Coffitivity, I feel so much more productive. It’s crazy what such a little thing can do! So if you’re looking for a new trick on how to focus, I suggest checking it out! I’m loving it!
Also, side note, no I don’t drink coffee so there is water in my mug instead. I believe that anything belongs in a mug though, not just hot drinks!
Oh I’ll have to listen to that! My friend Bianca sent me to poolside.fm for sounds of summer yesterday to get me through this coldsnap we’re having in Chicago and I love that too <3
Woah! I can’t believe this exists, but this is amazing! Haha :)
This is awesome!! Thanks for sharing. I’m gonna try it out today :)
Oh my goodness- what a cool idea! Love it! Thanks for sharing, Lauren!
That’s kinda funny! People are brilliant.
I am totally going to try it! I do love the buzz of a coffee shop in the morning ;) Great mug to!!
That’s awesome! I like to work in quiet, but my husband always has to edit with noise. I will definitely check this out.
My husband and I listen to this all of the time, actually! He also has a trick of putting one song on repeat for the morning and then maybe another for after lunch. I thought it would be annoying, but it isn’t (if it is the right song) and it totally helps me focus!
thanks for this!
Wow I just visited the website and I’m hooked. I have the luxury of working from home, but also the responsibility of caring for my youngest daughter so getting to coffee shops and bookstores is rather tough for me. I rather thought there would be more sounds of coffee brewing, but it’s only been a few minutes of listening. Thanks for sharing this neat site.
