This morning I read an instagram post from Bob Goff that said “God intended us to travel through life as a community. Think bus, not unicycle.” What struck me most is that I feel like that’s one of the biggest blessings of this season of my life!
When Amelia told me she was expecting, I couldn’t have been more thrilled for she and Jake! We are almost exactly 2 weeks apart, and it’s been so fun to have a checkpoint of… Is this normal? Are you experiencing this?
Getting to do this whole first-time pregnancy thing together, alongside our friend Adriana has been such a gift to me!!
So when it came time for their Burnt Hill Farm maternity portraits, it just felt like an extension of the fun! We got to laugh about all the ways our lives will change soon, and all the things we think we know.
… but if you look at Amelia and Jake in these photos, you can just see the joy that’s exuding from them! They literally could not be more excited to welcome their sweet girl into the world!
Plus, I’m pretty sure Amelia takes the whole “you’re glowing” thing to a new level! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone look so gorgeous pregnant!!!
I know these two are going to be incredible parents, because they’re starting off this new journey as they should be — together.
