When Reese first made her debut in the world, they were some of the first people to meet her.  They waited at the hospital and I’ll never forget the way they beamed as they both oohed and ahh-ed over her.  In fact, I’m pretty sure my mom will never forget the way Jeremiah just held sweet Reesey girl so snuggly in his arm.

Becca wrote in a sweet little caption from their first meeting.. “prepare for allll the spoiling!” and she’s been true to her word ever since…

And then Sully came. And then Quinn came.  Each time a new member of our little fam has entered this world, Becca and Jeremiah have surrounded us with joy and excitement.

They’ve watched our kids, loved them like they’re their own, and cheered us on as we’ve tried to figure out how to be parents.

… and now it’s their turn.

 

It is such a gift to have Jeremiah and Becca not only in our family, but as some of our best friends.  They have so much love to give and our sweet Halle girl hit the lotto with these two as her parents.

These photos will always be a treasure to me because of what they represent. They show a season of anticipation… of one of the greatest (and hardest!) joys of their lives.

Oh, and Halle girl, prepare for alllllllll the spoiling.
