From the perfect sunrise golden light, to their joyful and contagious smiles, this session was pretty much perfection.

Friends, let me tell you, you are going to love today’s session.  I met Ben and Anna downtown at sunrise in Annapolis and it was worth every second of the early morning wake-up call.  These two are just so much fun to be around and they couldn’t be more in love!

Ben and Anna chose Annapolis as the backdrop for their session because it’s the place where Anna grew up.  Her grandfather in fact, used to live right off Main Street at the most adorable stoop.  (We obviously had to stop by to see it!)  It’s also not far from the venue these two will be tying the knot next June!

With water and golden light, what could be more perfect?! Maybe the temperature…  It was such a beautiful morning and the only complaint we could have had was about the humidity, which actually ended up in our favor! Scroll towards the bottom of the post and you’ll see what I mean!

We essentially took a tour of all the major spots downtown – from the docks, up Main Street, to the state house, and the college in town.  St. John’s campus was the icing on the cake because it has a quaint feel that mimics the place where Ben and Anna met – University of Virginia.

How perfect is that? I love when engagement sessions are so special to the couple they’re celebrating and this was no exception! Needless to say after spending the morning with Ben and Anna I cannot wait for these two to get married in June at the Beach Club.  You literally can’t look at them when they’re together without feeling the same joy that they feel!  It’s enough to leave you in a pile of mush!!
