You guys!! I am beyond elated to finally share a wedding that I’ve had to keep under wraps for over a year. Nick & Lauren’s Springfield Manor wedding feature just went live on Washingtonian Weddings, which means I can finally share, too!
You may remember Nick and Lauren from their Jersey Shore engagement session (I think it’s an all-time favorite of mine!). From the first time we met I knew that their wedding was going to be so special because of how fun these two are. They have a connection that is just so easy and joyful!
… it makes them easy to celebrate!
And celebrate we did! Surrounded by their friends and families, Nick and Lauren said I do in the mountains of Frederick. Their whole day was filled with so many tears of joy and so many heartfelt expressions. Everything they hoped it would be.
A few of my favorite moments:
- Watching Lauren’s mama witness Lauren getting ready. She was the epitome of proud and it was just so sweet!
- Exploring the lavender fields with the happy couple. They couldn’t have been more excited to be getting married and I loved capturing their energy together.
- Lauren’s teary first look with her dad. I think he may or may not have told me that I really set him up for it but I think it was well worth it. Can you blame him!? She’s stunning!
- Nick and Lauren come from big families and they worked so hard to make sure everyone had their own special touches throughout the day. All of the parents gave wonderful speeches and Nick’s mama and his cousin played a special song during the ceremony. It’s always amazing to see such supportive families and I loved that they all came together to celebrate the newlyweds in their own ways!
I can’t speak highly enough about the incredible vendor team who served this couple and their vision so well. Sara Reynolds Events led the team in transforming Springfield’s ballroom. The florals by Blossom and Basket were the perfect match to the palette Lauren had chosen. The Bachelor Boys band had everyone on their feet all night long. It was epic!
And actually lastly ;) I have to give a huge shoutout to my team from this day! I shot this wedding a month after I had Sully and so Kimmie & Tricia both graciously served alongside me all day. They were so key to ensuring we didn’t miss a moment and captured this day well! Couldn’t be more grateful for my team that makes things happens on wedding days and beyond!
Now enough of my blabbing! Enjoy a peek at one of my favorite days and don’t miss the feature by Washingtonian Weddings here!
