Monday’s Mash-up Rest, Design, Rest

Untitled-2

Good morning, friends!  Happy Monday!! Now I know some of you are thinking… It’s Monday. Why the heck are you so excited about it?!  Well friends, today is a start to a new week: a week that holds new possibilities and more time to accomplish big dreams!  It’s because of this attitude that I came up with the concept, “Monday’s are for dreaming big!”  Whatever you didn’t accomplish last week, you have a brand spankin’ new week to work on it!  With that said, let’s check out this weekend’s events/lessons learned:

  • Friday night Morgan and I went out with some of our friends in Downtown Annapolis… it was lots of fun!
  • Saturday I met a dear friend for breakfast and had crepes for the first time in forever… you can’t go wrong with a cinnamon sugar crepe or great conversation!
  • Saturday is also when I started to get sick and it came to a head on Sunday.  I am not really feeling a full head or a sore throat!  Hopefully it goes away soon.
  • This weekend I spent a lot of time resting, and honestly it was definitely something that I needed!  I’m not always good at carving out time to just relax, but I’m so grateful that I did!
  • Also, we discovered that Safeway has delicious jambalaya for anyone who is wondering!  I promise I did more than just eat this weekend though! Haha!

What about you guys?  What did you do this weekend?

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

Lauren grew up spending her summers at the shore, and when she and Nick got together, she couldn't help but introduce him, too!  Their session in New Jersey was filled with gorgeous light, sweet smiles, and so much love & laughter.

Connor and Alli's wedding celebration was full of lush florals, gorgeous details, and a whole lot of joy.  Their first look was one of the most sacred moments I've witness on a wedding day... filled with so much delight and love!

One of my greatest inspirations comes from exploring and the California coast fulfills that wanderlust like nothing else.  Anytime I have rolling hills and oceanside views, I'm in heaven.

She's the ultimate hypewoman. I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
