Waiting on you little one —
There are clothes on hangers now. There’s a mirror hung an artwork displayed. Your siblings are counting down the days and we all can’t wait to meet you.
There’s something strange about knowing this is the last nursery I’ll get to pull together. This is the space where you will occupy the beginning of your life here with us.
We’re no strangers to loss and we know that you are a gift that is not promised, and knowing that makes you feel all the more special.
I can’t wait to see who you are, if you resemble your siblings, if you take after their cheekiness or if you have a softness all your own. The anticipation of you coming.. gosh there’s nothing like it.
Sweet Nora Mae, I just can’t wait to meet you.
We have a year packed with adventure, but I know that you will be the sweetest one.

A vintage nursery, just for you Nora Mae.
One of my favorite creative outlets outside of work is getting to make pretty little spaces in our home. We actually have a rather large renovation project going on this summer (yes, we are crazy), so Nora’s nursery is temporary but still needed something cute.
Like my photo work, I love lots of little layers, clean lines, and vintage. You’ll see a bit of all in her space.
Because it’s temporary, we pulled this together mostly from the things we already had. Of course, I did add in a few extras, too – I’ll link below.

Grateful that the countdown is officially on, and it’s baby month! Yay!!
