Oh where to begin with this sweet couple? Danny and Celina were in town from Montana for their Maryland engagement session to celebrate the holidays!

Danny is my brother-in-law’s brother. Is that confusing? I think it’s more a mouth full ;) Anyway, because of this I’ve known Danny for what feels like forever!  In fact, his family hosted my high school small group for a few years at their home!

… Needless to say, Danny was unfortunately privy to some of my most embarrassing teen memories. Sorry about that!

Anyways, fast forward to a few weeks ago when I found out that Danny got engaged to Celina!  It’s been a big year for their family (Danny’s sister Emma just got engaged, too! You’ll get to meet that sweet couple next week!!)!  His mom reached out to me and let me in on a little secret… Celina was flying in to surprise him! So we scheduled engagement photos while she was here to celebrate their new engagement!

When we arrived last week at the park, we took a little walk around, trying to stay warm! Danny & Celina’s engagement session was officially the coldest I’ve ever shot.  It was a whole 0 degrees!!

I was walking them through all the ways to try and feel cozy despite the wind, when Celina reminded me that living in Montana makes them pretty well used to this weather! Haha! Anywho, I don’t think anything could have been sweeter than seeing these two cozied up under the blanket that Celina brought! … And want to hear something better? See Celina’s cute skirt?! She MADE it herself!! How perfect is that?

Needless to say, they made their engagement session look goooood, but that’s because of how much fun they have when they’re together.  I’m pretty a smile never left either of their faces!
