Friends, are you in for a treat with today’s La Banque de Fleuve wedding in Havre de Grace!

They say rain on a wedding day is good luck.  Well, I think that George & Erin had the perfect amount of good luck in that case ;)

The morning of their wedding started off with rain showers, but just as Erin was finishing up her hair and make-up, the gray skies lifted and the sun came out to dry everything up.  The result? The perfect spring day with some breeze and speckled sunlight.

The weather was just the start… everything was so wonderful on Sunday.  George and Erin’s friends and family got to come and celebrate a beautiful day for them.  They watched as the lovely bride and groom stood (sometimes teary-eyed) as they professed their love for one another and their commitment to keep Jesus at the center of their relationship.  It was a beautiful ceremony… simple and sweet, just like the best things in life.

One of my personal favorite parts of the day was when Erin walked down the aisle.  Leading up to the big moment, you could tell that George had this nervous excitement (emphasis on excitement!) brewing.  I had to keep reminding him to relax his shoulders, that it was almost time! Well, as soon as he saw Erin, he instantly relaxed.  If that’s not a picture of two people meant to be together, I don’t know what is.  They’re each other’s safe place, and their wedding was a celebration of making each other permanently home.

From the beautiful bridal party (I’m a bit biased), to the fun their families shared on the dance floor at La Banque de Fleuve, everything about George and Erin’s wedding day was perfect! … maybe minus the sunburn I accidentally gave Erin by making her take portraits outside in the brightest part of the day! Haha!
