But the truth is, as I was reflecting on what I’m most grateful for this Thanksgiving, its that there are many people in my life that hold with them pieces of my heart…

Both of our families, the friends that might as well be family, the amazing clients and vendors that I get to serve, even some of the people who I have a hard time getting along with… I wouldn’t be the same person if it weren’t for each them, and I am so grateful for all of the people that we have surrounding us.

So this Thanksgiving Day, I just want to take a second to say thank you! I’m more grateful for you than you could ever know 💛

… and also, Reesey girl *lovedddd* her Gigi’s Thanksgiving feast, we had two pies for 5 people, and peonies in the centerpiece, so its safe to say we can put today in the “win” column 😉

“Oh the weather outside is frightful…” 🎶

… probably what everyone was thinking last week when I decided I could wait *no* longer to get a Christmas tree and we were greeted with a misty/rainy, hazy, cold day (much like today!) at the farm.

… but we got Reese’s first Christmas tree and I just feel so lucky to have pics of it — red noses, make shift tripod, and all 😍

It should also be noted, for memories sake, that said Christmas tree has been decorated and adorned perfectly with dried oranges, not once, but *twice* thanks to a certain golden retriever who shall not be named gobbling them up!!! (Though only from the bottom half 🙄😳)

✈️ Flew to Colorado to visit my great aunt before she passes. It was filled with lots of great stories, some prairie dogs, more mountains than I can count, and more laughs, too.

💛 Took Reesey Adaline camping for the first time. (She lived her best life if you want to know). From “helping” set up the tent, to jumping right into the lake without a care in the world, to conveniently having her seat placed next to the open chip bag at dinner, it’s safe to say she was a fan.

Life is the most bittersweet right now. It’s equal parts slow while somehow fighting to get back to a normal pace. It’s summertime and fun and sunshine, but also really heavy with all that’s going on in the world right now. I know you can feel it, too.

It’s partially why I’ve been avoiding posting here — it feels weird to share normal captions or even normal life when there’s so much going on in the world. But it got me thinking… what if sometimes we need:

Even when life feels weird, it’s still really beautiful. And I’m going to keep sharing it that way… because sometimes I think that’s what we all need to be reminded of.
