Change they say is a good thing.  Sometimes I think it is, sometimes, maybe not so much.  Either way our family is experiencing a lot of change.  Last Sunday, David and Megan moved across the country to Seattle, Washington.  Then the next day my baby sister moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Well tomorrow marks another day of change because in the morning, my sweet sister-in-law moves to St. David’s, Pennsylvania.  Then tomorrow night Morgan and I have to take my brother-in-law, Josh to the airport because he is moving to Denmark for four months to study abroad… I told you!! Lots of change is happening in our family!!

Hence the title of this post is “I say goodbye, you say hello,” my own twist on the Beatles song. I’m so excited for everyone’s new opportunities!! I know they’re all going to great things where they are headed off to, but I would be lying if I told you that I wasn’t sad.

To celebrate our family, we decided to do some quick family portraits in the backyard!! I’m so thankful for my family and I don’t know what I’d do without them!

Enjoy!!

The boys making fun of our picture… You should have seen some of the other ones… yikes!! Haha!

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
