Today I am so excited to introduce you to Eric & Molly and their downtown Annapolis engagement portraits!
We first met at Baltimore Tea & Company to get to know each other. These two are Penn State sweethearts and have such a sweet spirit when they’re together. Eric and Molly are easily some of the kindest people I’ve meet and when they’re together it just doubles! Not only do they love each other but they love getting to share about their families too! I always love getting to hear about the important people in a couple’s lives! I think it’s what helps shape them.
From our first meeting to our engagement session it was so much fun to get to know this sweet couple! Plus DTA put on a serious show for us! What would normally be a super hot and humid evening was exchanged with a constant and lovely breeze. From the State House to Dock Street everything was gorgeous. A summer evening bustling! In fact, if Lorelai Gilmore had anything to do with it, she’d have called it one of those lazy, hazy, days of summer!
But the best part of the evening? The sunset we were greeted with was absolutely stunning! I mean, I don’t think I’ve seen a sunset like this in downtown Annapolis in a long time. It reminded me of a quote I read last week from Harper Lee…
“Summer was our best season… it was a thousand colors in a parched landscape!”
Trade parched landscape out for a nautical cityscape and that pretty much sums it up! However, what I love about Eric and Molly, is that it wouldn’t have mattered where they were, as long as they were together!
E&M, let’s hope you’re so lucky during your Calvert House wedding next year! I can’t wait ’til next June!! Until then, I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from this gorgeous Downtown Annapolis engagement session! Happy Tuesday, friends!
