Y’all are in for a treat today! I’m so excited to share a little peek into a gorgeous Charleston-inspired Georgetown engagement shoot. It has me walking into Monday feeling all kinds of happy!
You also may recognize a familiar face today! You see, Mallory was a bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding a few Augusts ago, and so when I got the email that she was engaged, I couldn’t have been more excited to be invited back in to another celebration! This family is one of my all-time favorites and it feels like such an honor to be invited back into so many amazing life moments.
From the get-go I’ve been excited to get to spend more time with these two. Mallory is kind and thoughtful (and has the best smile!)… she made an impression all those years ago and I’ve loved getting to catch up periodically at friends’ weddings, too!
Last week was the first time I got to meet Ben and it was so fun getting to watch how he cares for Mallory. They’re the perfect compliments for each other — he encourages her and adores her! I loved watching them interact and exploring the streets of Georgetown hand in hand.
Ben and Mallory are tying the knot next May in Charleston (what a dream!? right!?)…
… and so when we stumbled upon the sweetest flickering lantern on a street in Georgetown, it felt meant-to-be! We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely evening to stroll the streets and capture their sweet Charleston-inspired Georgetown engagement session.
I could go on and on about these two, but I’ll let you see all the joy and delight for yourself! Safe to say, I’m counting down the days until next May for their epic celebration with Emma Ivey Events. It’s going to be a good one y’all ;)

Springtime is going to be good, isn’t it!? ;) Can’t wait for May to arrive!
