Last Saturday was pretty much the perfectttt day if you ask me! Greg and Melanie tied the knot at their Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum wedding in front of the sweetest set of family and friends!
As much as these two were at the forefront of the day, their sweet pup Denny took the stage a few times too! He welcomed guests to his parents’ wedding like a champ, and even took a comfy little snooze as they exchanged vows! As such an important part of their lives together, it only made sense for him to have his prints throughout the day, too!
And can we talk about this couple?! Greg and Melanie are one of the most gracious and kind couples I’ve ever met. They love each other so clearly! One of my favorite moments of the day was watching Greg as Melanie made her way down the aisle. He couldn’t help but let a few tears fall, and his brother (their wonderful officiant) leaned over to see if she got him ;) It was such a sweet moment for sure and such a testament to the connection these two have. The ceremony photos and all of the moments in between are the perfect showcase of that!
Plus, I think we can all agree that Melanie has incredible taste — her gown is literally a stunner! Especially paired with her veil and her grandmother’s vintage ring. She got to have a tiny piece with her of a woman that meant so much to her on her wedding day. All throughout the day, Melanie planned details coordinated to the tee and made her guests feel so special! She even surprised Greg with a surprise sail for he and the guys before the wedding, so they could all arrive by boat!!
I think at this point it’s obvious that I could keep gushing about this special day — but I’ll spare you ;) Instead, enjoy a peek at Greg and Melanie’s Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for yourself! G&M, I can’t thank you enough for entrusting us to capture your special day and treating us like we were a part of your family too! <3
