Friends, I have been keeping this sweet destination, Candlewood Inn wedding under wraps since May…
… and today I am thrilled to finally be sharing Devin and Kristen’s wedding day with you! You see, I got connected to this sweet couple through my friend Kimmie! Kimmie was originally set to photograph this beautiful Candlewood Inn wedding, but then welcomed her babe, Holland into the world that weekend instead ;)
I’d say it was a win-win for both of us!
Because Kimmie was a little preoccupied… I got to meet one of the sweetest couples! Devin and Kristen are so kind and thoughtful, and welcomed me into their wedding celebration like an old friend! This was so amazing considering we only met the night before the wedding!!
When it came to their wedding day, Devin and Kristen had their priorities right! They chose their venue so that their dearest family and friends could all be together to celebrate — and because it reminded Kristen of growing up on the lake! But when the rain came in, it would have been easy for them to be discouraged about changing their plans. Instead, they embraced it and their wedding couldn’t have been more intimate and tailored to them.
Rainy day weddings have a way of making things feel so cozy, and this Candlewood Inn wedding was no exception!
