Monday’s Mash-up Charleston, An Engagement Shoot, and the Living Room Project

Phew! This week/weekend has been absolute blast!  Monday I flew down to Charleston, South Carolina and spent the week with my incredibly sweet friends!  These girls are some of my favorite people and I’m so grateful that I got to spend time with them!  You’ll get to hear more about the trip on the blog later this week, but for now you just get a fun sneak peek and some iPhone photos!  In addition, I had a super sweet engagement session on Saturday morning with Andrew and Kate.  These two are getting married in June and after spending the morning with them, I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding day!  I’ll be sharing more from that on the blog tomorrow morning!

Plus, as always here’s a little Monday’s Mash-up:

  • Jeni’s ice cream is absolutely delicious! I had never had it before but their Wildberry Lavender ice cream is enough to make your mouth water just thinking about it!
  • While we were in Charleston, Natalie and I got to meet up and photograph a local artist (Blakely Made) along the Horlbeck Creek and you’ll never guess what came up out of the water there!! A dolphin! Though at first we all definitely thought it was a shark! AH!
  • You hear that Charleston literally has the best food and that you can’t go wrong eating anywhere! Well, I’m convinced that there is definitely truth to that!
  • This week we also made major strides towards launching the new website!! YAY! I can’t wait to share what we have cooked up so very soon!
  • It’s not cool that it’s springtime and still snowing, Maryland.  Please just bring us some warmer weather soon!!
  • I had another “Living Room Project” shoot on Saturday which turned into a day full of much needed time with my sweet friend Nicole! I’m always so thankful for our time together!

I’m sure there’s a lot more that I could be sharing, but I’ll try not to bore you and just get to the good stuff! That means the sneak peeks!

Lauren grew up spending her summers at the shore, and when she and Nick got together, she couldn't help but introduce him, too!  Their session in New Jersey was filled with gorgeous light, sweet smiles, and so much love & laughter.

Connor and Alli's wedding celebration was full of lush florals, gorgeous details, and a whole lot of joy.  Their first look was one of the most sacred moments I've witness on a wedding day... filled with so much delight and love!

She's the ultimate hypewoman. I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
