Last week, I had the honor and privilege of getting to spend some more time in San Francisco for the Rising Tide Society’s Leader’s Retreat.  It was so fun to catch up with friends, old and new, and to finally meet a few of them in real life.  There’s something so special about the way the world works today… people from so far away can become friends through their common interests online!  So really occasions like these always just feel like one big happy reunion!

If you were to ask me about my three main takeaways from the week I would say:

 

At the end of the day, the things that make us different from one another are much fewer than the things that make us similar.

None of us are alone in our struggles, it just takes vulnerability to get there.

Lettering over 100 champagne bottles and quotes around the office can give a girl a serious hand cramp ;)

I loved my time away and especially time learning from awesome speakers and dear friends!  Xo!
